After three years of playing for Juventus, Andrea Agnelli is finally set to join up with the Bianconeri as their first-choice goalkeeper.
The Italy international has been linked with a move to the San Siro and has been in discussions with Juventus president Aurelio De Laurentiis over a possible move to Stadio Olimpico.
Agnella, who was signed by the Biancocelesti in 2016 from AC Milan, has been under contract at the San Gazzaro since the start of the 2018/19 season and has made four Serie A appearances for the Biancoli.
His move to La Gazetta della Sport on Thursday, however, could be his final step at Juventus.
“I have a contract at Juventus for two more years, so the possibility of joining the Biancans is not as remote as some would think,” Agnellio said.
“It is a difficult decision to make, but I have already talked to Juventus president De Laurentio about the situation and I am looking forward to the new challenge.”
Agnelli made 14 appearances for Juve this season, netting six times.
He is currently in negotiations with Roma over a loan deal, and is due to join his club in Italy on January 14.
